A new design philosophy characterises the new CNC series: state-of-the-art technology and ergonomics play a leading role. During the development of the new CNC, a new generation of user interfaces was created, with contents and graphic concepts aimed at providing simple, intuitive reading of the operations and controls. The large displays all use "touch screen" technology, allowing the operator optimum control of programming operations and machine functions in the machine being managed.

Thanks to the considerable experience and competence of E.C.S. technicians, the great care taken when selecting and creating the technical elements, along with the development of special components, has resulted in CNCs that are truly revolutionary from many different points of view. Fast and reliable, these new controls allow performance levels never achieved before, and create what is truly a new benchmark for the sector.

The significant increase in the speed with which commands are performed and updated is only one of the key aspects of the E.C.S. 900 series. Another important factor is the great effort that has been made to identify a new graphic language: through the creation of specific icons and customisable commands that are only visible on screen when actually in use, a series of operations has been coded to simplify – "guide the operator" – and make the CNCs much more efficient to use. This is also thanks to a careful choice of colours, which highlights areas and machining units or groups of commands with greater precision.
